Gold prices are higher in early Asian trade due to improved sentiment. The US Federal Reserve Governor, Michelle Bowman, has shifted her stance from being hawkish to supporting rate cuts as inflation eases. Nanhua Futures analysts suggest that gold prices may continue to fluctuate as the market debates the possibility of the Fed lowering interest rates in the first quarter. Traders are closely watching the upcoming US inflation data for further direction. As of now, spot gold is up 0.3% at $2,034.29 per ounce.
