Brisk April Day #

It was the middle of April and a brisk day. The clouds hung low, the temperature was chilly, and the sun had set. The sidewalks were empty and the traffic was light.

While running a quick errand, I noticed a man standing at a corner about 20 feet away. What struck me was his clothing: a winter jacket and a knit hat. It was quite different from the spring-weight fleece jacket I was wearing. I couldn’t help but wonder why he was dressed for colder weather on this cool April day.
