Trump reports outraising Biden campaign in April, but Dems maintain cash advantage

Biden’s political operation revealed that they raised $51 million in April, while Trump and the Republican National Committee reported raising $76 million during the same period. Trump’s campaign committee raised $9.4 million excluding contributions from the RNC or any PACs, while Biden’s campaign committee raised $24.2 million. Trump’s successful fundraising is potentially a result of his trial and efforts to garner support from wealthy donors.
